Oct 12 Muttenz and Wartenburg

After returning the leased car (Dacia Duster) to the Renault dealership in Basel, we picked up a (one way) rental car to drive to the Zurich airport the next day. We then drove to Muttenz and exchanged our remaining Swiss Francs and Euros for US dollars. There is an old castle ruin on a hill overlooking Muttenz. This old ruin was visible from our apartment when we lived in Basel in 1982-83. We drove the car to a parking point 1/2 mile away and walked to the ruin.

There are 3 parts, a northern, middle,
and southern ruin each about 1/8 mile apart.
