Oberried, Todtnau, and Todtmoos are small villages in the southern part of the Black Forest. Since the busy summer season is over and the children are back in school, the roads and the villages had minimal traffic making it easier to enjoy the scenery and find parking.

There are many Guest Houses throughout the region.
Accomodations for the next 5 nights are in
Schworstadt Germany (beside the
Rhein river bordering Switzerland).
Throughout the trip the accommodations rented
through Homeaway and Airbnb have been a
good value. The 5 bedroom vacation apartment
in Schworstadt rents for 50 Euro ($56) per night.
