Colmar France is what some call a "fairy tale" city and is said to have one of the best preserved old cities in all of France. It is located in the Rhine river valley 30 miles west of Freiburg Germany in a region known as the Alsace. The vineyards are extensive stretching for 70 miles along the wide valley. This is the time of year for the grape harvest and wine festivals. Some views:
