July 17 Hasliberg farm house

Drove 150 kilometers (90 miles) to Hasliberg in central Switzerland south of Luzern. The Swiss highways are well engineered with many roundabouts and tunnels to facilitate the traffic flow and the roads are very well marked but our GPS has proven extremely useful in guiding us and finding exact addresses. Today, it identified a traffic jam ahead of us and automatically rerouted us.
Accomodations for the next 3 nights are in a barn-house originally built in 1682 and now renovated into a two bedroom vacation apartment with living room, kitchen and bath. We are about 1000 meters above the valley floor with a view of the Alps. Andy and Simone (a younger couple with a 14 year old son) were our hosts.
