In Italy the saying is "All roads lead to Rome". In Switzerland, I think the saying should be "All roads lead to pastoral Alpine views", at least for our midwestern eyes. Yesterday we drove the narrow Laburgstrasse (Laburg road) over the Mythen pass to the region of Einsiedeln. If the narrow roads had more turn outs where you could stop (there are very few), it would be challenging to complete the 50 km drive. There would be too many stops to soak in the view and take pictures.
