Aug 9 Cinque Terre by train and boat

It is possible to travel between the Cinque Terre villages (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manorola, Riomaggiore) by train (mostly by tunnel) or boat (with boat stops at all 5 villages except Corniglia). There are 358 steps from the village of Corniglia to the train station (walked down). Day trip: Train to Monterosso (10 min, 4 Euro pp); boat to Porto Venere south of Riomaggiore (1.5 hr, 16 Euro); boat back to Riomaggiore (30 min, 12 Euro pp); train back to Corniglia (10 min, 4 Euro pp); shuttle bus up to village (5 min, 2.5 Euro pp).
