The 7 day cruise from Venice on Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas made port calls in Montenegro (Kotor) and Greece (Corfu, Athens, Mykonos, and Argostoli).
We did not know what to expect as far as languages on the ship but found that the primary language was English. The passengers represented 40+ nationalities.

We left our car at a secured parking garage on the mainland 5 miles from the Venice cruise port and took the complimentary shuttle to the ship (parking on the mainland was 10 Euros per day vs a much higher rate at the port).
When the ship left Venice, it followed a channel along the east side of Venice before entering the Adreatic Sea.
